Five Go To Smugglers Top – a review

Thank you to Alice for sending us this lovely review Five Go To Smugglers Top by Enid Blyton

Julian, Dick, Anne, George and Timmy all go to a friends house. When they get there they found it very big and strange. Suddenly, one night their friend vanished into the tunnels of the house along with Uncle Quentin. WHO ON EARTH DID THIS?

I enjoyed this book because it was a very adventurous book and I like adventurous books.   If you like the sound of this book then buy it.  My favourite character is Timmy the dog because he finds their friend and Uncle Quentin. My least favourite character is their friend’s dad’s servant because he acts very strange. My favourite chapter is chapter nine. Chapter nine is called: Who is in the tower? Chapter nine is my favourite chapter because it is the most tense chapter with lots of mysterious events.

This chapter is tense because Julian sees some strange signals coming from a tower.

He tells Dick and their friend. Bravely, they go to the tower and see a person walking

down a…. (I don’t want to spoil the rest for you) ‘
