This is a classic ghost story featuring Bloody Mary. This is a story about what happened when Liam’s family after they moved into a run-down old house in a new town.

The main characters are Liam, his sister Kelly and Bloody Mary. I like Liam because he is a responsible boy who looks after his sister. He is intelligent and brave. Kelly is a nice girl. She is sweet, generous and beautiful. Bloody Mary is a spooky, greedy, mean and dark lady.

After they moved in the house, Liam heard a whisper upstairs. Then he  met Bloody Mary who was a ghost living in the mirror. Lots of scary things happened which frightened Liam’s family.

I like the book because it is very scary, dark and gloomy. My favourite part is when Bloody Mary appeared, her hair being blood-red and hanging loose and shabby round her shoulders. She has a sharp nose and her chin gave her a V-shape face. And her eyes glowed like flames which made Kelly tremble.

I would like to recommend this book to all my friends who like horror stories as this is  the most horrible, frightening ghost story I have ever read.
