– by Mary Downing Hahn

Travis and Corey go to spend the summer at the Fox Hill Inn, which is owned by their grandmother. When they learn that their grandmother’s inn is supposedly haunted, they decide to give the inn more publicity by tricking the people that stay at the Fox Hill Inn into believing that the inn really is possessed. With their pranks, they awaken spirits that should have stayed asleep.

I love this book because Mary Downing Hahn made it so realistic, I had goose bumps up my arms, and while I was reading the book, I was turning around, checking that I was alone. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading fantasy, and even to those who don’t.

More Mary Downing Hahn stories: Deep and Dark and Dangerous, Wait Till Helen Comes, The Doll in the Garden, The Old Willis Place, Time for Andrew, Stepping on the Cracks, The Gentleman Outlaw and Me, Closed for the Season, The Dead Man in Indian Creek, Daphne’s Book, Tallahassee Higgins, The Wind Blows Backward, Look for Me by Moonlight, Witch Catcher.
