Easter Workshops

We are going on a story hunt!

This week we are getting over the fear of the blank page and learning that there are stories all around us, we only have to look for them. Weather permitting, on Monday we will hunt for stories (Easter Egg hunt style) in the garden and on Tuesday we will be finding stories in unexpected places.

Children will be instructed in different ways to start stories and structure them, so that when they are asked to write a story at school or even in a test, they have the confidence to get started and write something wonderful!

Monday 30th March – Today, instead of hunting for eggs in the garden, we will be hunting for stories that the garden has hidden. Weather permitting, we will be looking under bushes and behind daffodils for the elements to our stories. All will be revealed on the day!

Tuesday 31st March – Stories really are everywhere. Today children will look at stories that are hidden around us, and taught how to look for stories and to begin them.
