RECOMMENDED READING for 9-11 year olds.
It has been said by a past Education Minister that 11 year old children should be reading at least 50 books at year. That is quite a lot of books for a young person. We believe in quality rather than quantity, so it is better to take your time enjoying and understanding what you are reading, rather than racing through books to read the recommended amount!
How about trying the audio versions of some the books? Listening to literature still exposes you to new stories and vocabulary.
