What Could it Be? Our Poems from Saturday Writing Club 8/10

In Saturday Writing Club we spent a lot of time lost in a forest, looking at the wonders around us and running from strange shadows. When we finally emerged we had time to write some’ What Could it Be?’ poems and here are some of them for you  to enjoy!

What Could it Be?

It eats and and eats

It gorges and guzzles

Its belly’s SO big it can eat for a week ,

and not even WANT to empty itself

It loves the waste,

to chew in its mouth.

It’s always hungry,

Though I can’t satisfy it.

Now, what do you say,

What could it be?

Trainers

They take me everywhere

We share our adventures

They are a costly companion

They have eyes but can’t see through them

They endure every step and stride

Gold

I am very strong

I am shiny

I hide in safe places away from burglars

It is hard to find me

I am very valuable

The Mirror

I always tell the truth

I never tell a lie

I am watching you

I see you in the morning

I see you when you come home

When you think you are hiding

I can always see you

The Lightbulb

I brighten the room and especially at night

I turn on and off

I welcome you when you come home

I am very bright but you replace me with someone

After a few months.
