We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you who sent your children to our workshops over the summer holidays. Your young writers were fantastically creative and imaginative. Even the youngest of the children came up with ideas and creations that amazed us. Everyone’s wonderful poetry and stories, from monsters in attics to strange beasts, will stay with us for the rest of the year and will be remembered with smiles. We discovered that many of the children are talented artists as well as writers (see the drawings below!!)
We are not ready to say goodbye to the summer but we are looking forward to our October Half-Term workshops which will be loaded on the website this week! We have a new Saturday Writing Club starting in Kensal Rise NW10 in October too. Watch this space.
Our first workshop of the new academic year is with Tamsyn Murray, author of Completely Cassidy, Tanglewood Tales and many more. So come and join the fun on the 10th of September in Muswell Hill. Click here for more details. And we have regular workshops for secondary school-aged pupils now.
