Book review – Skills from Brazil (Dan Freedman) By Conor aged 10

Skills from Brazil By Dan Freedman

REVIEWER: Conor, aged 10.

If you like football this book is for you.

This book is a book about Jamie Johnson. He goes to Brazil with a new boy called Rafael Da Cruz from Brazil at his school. Jamie loves football so he is scared that the new boy is better than him. Jamie’s dream is to play for Hawkstone United one day. In Brazil he keeps in contact with his granddad Mike because he misses him. Rafael carries round a peculiar notebook to do some sketches in to remember football moves, which I think is interesting.

In Brazil Jamie meets a true legend at football. Who will be the legend he meets? You’ll have to find out in the book…

I liked the book because it had good language and good description. I rate it 8 out of 10. You should collect the whole series.
