A Bird Called Cat – by Della Witchy (an audiobook)
This book was about a bird called Cat falling in love with another bird called Miranda.
Cat had to decide whether to try and catch Miranda’s attention or not. Cat knew that it would be a mammoth task to impress Miranda, as she was immensely popular, and many other birds were also interested in her. Cat knew he would have to do something incredible to impress her. He believed they could be an amazing couple together.
I think this book would help other children to learn that everything is possible, and you can achieve whatever you want.
Boys and girls who are 4 – 9 years old would like this book because it’s inspiring and motivating.

What is the story about?
The story is about a bird who was stuck on a fallen branch. A girl found the bird and named him Cat. The girl was named Sammy and she had a little brother named Tom. Sammy wanted to keep Cat a secret from Tom and her parents but Sammy has been telling Tom about Cat. Cat could talk and Tom saw cat and he got excited. Sammy wanted Tom to keep Cat a secret. Cat had a crush on a bird named Miranda all his life. Sammy found out about the crush and wanted to help. She wanted to make a date for Cat, Cat was very nervous about the date so he invited Roger the parrot to see if Cat looked good. It was a success and Cat stayed for tea. And at the end Miranda and Cat got married.
Who is your favourite character why?
My favourite character is Sammy because she let an animal in her home and she had to keep cat a secret.
What is your favourite part?
My favourite part is when Cat and Miranda get married.

I think this book aimed at 3-7 years old .
