Our N21 Workshops are all being held in Friends House this year. We love Friends House and feel privileged to be permitted to hire its rooms. It is like a home inside, so the children feel comfortable and at ease to write and then there is the garden….. The children love the garden. We use it for inspiration in our stories and poems…. from the towering tree in the middle to the old gravestones at the back. And when the children have done their writing, it is a wonderful calming place to take a break. The children have names for areas of the garden but the ‘Woodcutters Lair’ is my favourite and a lovely place to sit in the shade. So come and write with us this summer….. indoors or out (weather permitting).
