The Story Room runs a Book Club for children in years 4, 5 and 6. We have a mixed bunch of reluctant readers and readers who finish a book in a day! But they all finish the books and all love to hear back from the authors we write to. We read a book a month and have read a mountain of books since it started. This a list of the books that the children have read.
THESE ARE THE BOOKS THAT ALL THE CHILDREN LOVED
A Dog Called GRK – Josh Lacey I have to say a few words about this series of books. I have not met a child who does not love them! They are fun, easy to read and do not patronise their readers. Each one is set in a different country, depending on where Tim and his Dog end up in their crime solving missions. The books deal with serious subjects in a sensitive, child-friendly and exciting way.
Hamish and The Worldstoppers – Danny Wallace
The Falcon’s Malteser – Anthony Horowitz
The Jungle Book – Rudyard Kipling

awaiting her third book.
