I love running The Story Room! Each story that a child writes is something to  be treasured. This week one of our very young writers,  handed me a story that she had written at home which I will treasure for a long time. This is Evie’s story…..

The Writing Lesson

One day on a sunny morning a beautiful girl called Helena was skipping across the road. She helped people who couldn’t carry their bags and toys. There was something she didn’t like which was writing. Every day she had to do writing. Then her Mum and Dad said that she could do a writing lesson. The next day she started the lesson. Then she realised it was fun writing stories. Then she thought, “I am going to do writing every day.” Everyone was happy from that day on.
