Why teaching kids to love writing is more important than grammar. (Michael Morpurgo)

This article in the Guardian was shared with me by my colleague Michelle. I found myself cheering Michael Morpurgo on all the way through the article. I am sharing it here as I think it is such important reading for parents and will hopefully help you understand our approach at The Story Room. Every time a child asks me if they can start a sentence with a ‘frontal adverbial’ I feel my heart sinking to new depths.
