I love running The Story Room! Over the last 18 months I have had so much fun running the workshops and find working with each child a rewarding experience. You can imagine my delight when I received this wonderful review in my inbox this morning!

The Story Room is an enjoyable, lively and amusing place to go to, I love it there! Every time you go, there is a different theme and Helena plans some creative writing to go with the theme. Everyone produces a brilliant pieces of work (with Helena’s help), no matter how much or little they do, whether it’s story writing or writing a letter or a poem it’s always great.The best thing about it is that, it’s so enjoyable you don’t even realise you’re working! Sometimes you get to dress up, examples of this are the Harry Potter workshop and the halloween workshop. Depending on the theme Helena makes it as real as possible. Additionally at The Story Room I had the chance to meet authors, go to Forty Hall and most importantly have fun! So to summarise The Story Room I would say it’s an exhilarating experience where you work hard, but don’t realise it, meet new people and make friends and lastly… Enjoy yourself because there are moments at The Story Room you’ll never forget!
