The child has one intuitive aim: self development

UNDER THE SEA

We had a great time creating and making in our UNDER THE SEA workshops during October half-term week. We wrote poetry about sea creatures looking specifically at strong verbs for movement and using the breadth of knowledge that the children had about natural history and we learnt about  a complex and intriguing character from Irish Mythology,  Manannan Mac Lir.  I have to stay that the children’s sea gods and goddesses were equally feisty and fearsome! It was a pleasure to write with the children and particularly to see how attentive and respectful they were of each other and each other’s writing.  Roll on February half-term!!
